Draw and Craft Your Unique Wall Hanging: Tapestry Composition, Design & Colour, Beginners Punch Needle (English, Berlin)

Under the guidance of textile artist Lillian Morrissey, this engaging workshop series is designed for beginners eager to explore the art of punch needle embroidery, design, composition and the creative process. Learn about textiles, discuss art, sketch a design and take home your own unique tapestry.

Held over the course of three, three-hour weekly sessions in Lillian’s cosy artist studio, you'll delve into essential design principles, pictorial composition, colour theory, art history and the creative process. Sketch your own unique design guided by inspiring art resources and hands-on activities. With all materials provided, including cotton, tools and a selection of vibrant yarns, you'll sketch, dye, transfer, and stitch your way to crafting a beautiful 35x60 cm wall hanging that reflects your unique ideas and aesthetics. 

Whether you're looking to express your creative side, learn new techniques, or simply have fun, talk about art, meet some new people and practise English in a cosy and friendly environment, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to make something truly special by hand, from start to finish.

This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants. To register for a studio workshop, fill out the contact form below, specifying the date and type of course. When a minimum have registered, you will be sent a confirmation email with the cost invoice attached - if the minimum is not reached you'll be invited to choose another date.

• Workshops are non-refundable, but in the case of illness or unexpected issues you can ‘transfer’ your credit to another date.
